Haloween 07

It's Halloween time again and Cole has grown up a bit since last year. This year he was able to truely dress up in a costume and enjoy a bit of light trick or treating with our neighbors. In case you can't tell... he was a monkey :)

Napping

Nap time at Cole's school is a magical time when care givers dance and sing in order to rejoice a moments peace. It is a rare to be able to capture on film a time where all the kids in class are down for a nap at the same time.... kinda makes you feel like you are missing out on something... I need to move to Spain.

And then there are times when the nap, in itself, is exercise. Here is a shot captured by one of Cole's teachers... maybe he was doing the classic "duck and cover" move.

Halloween is only two days away. Stay tuned for shots of Cole in his costume!!

Country Pumpkin

Peekin' for Pumpkins

It's pumpkin time again. After last years trip to the Urban (read Ghetto) Pumpkin Patch found on the corner of a very busy intersection deep in the heart of the San Fernando Valley, the folks decided it was time for an upgrade.

Off to Underwood Family Farms where Cole helped celebrate Quinn Stephen's 2nd Birthday a earlier this year. What was once fields of fresh strawberries had given way to pumpkins as far as the eye can see.

Cole met up with his friends Evan and Preston Jernegan along with Quinn and explored the Harvest Festival and the many different activities. He had a BLAST.

Below are some pics and a video recap.

Cassidy's House

On Sunday, Cole and his parents were invited to his friend Cassidy's new house for football and BBQ. Cole was very excited to see his friend in her new environment and took it upon himself to explore the grounds.

Walk a Mile in my Shoes

Cole (not unlike his trusty friend Cooper, the Dog) has put two and two together and is now well aware that putting on shoes translates into "go outside". Considering that Cole loves spending time outside he is often looking for his own or any shoes to put on in the hopes of being able to go outside to play.

This past weekend, Cole was trying on every pair of shoes he could find and attempting to lure his folks outside.

I (Heart) NY

Dad just returned from a work trip to the Big Apple. While walking around the crowded streets of Manhattan Dad realized that he couldn't return home without a something for the little man.

Luckily it isn't difficult to find a small trinket while making your way through the masses. Be it a fake Gucci bag or a small glowing Statue of Liberty, a shot glass featuring the Empire State Building or a kids size Yankees uniform... the decsion was made to grab the ol standard.

Moving as fast as the New Yorkers do
