Firefighter Cole

A few weeks ago the Burbank Police and Fire Departments had a bit of an open house. They put all the cars, vehicles and trucks out on display for all the city to see in a festival style atmosphere. Needless to say with Cole's facination with Fire Trucks this event was one not to be missed.

To put it lightly.... Cole enjoyed himself. While he was a little overwhelmed at first, he quickly warmed and welcomed the opportunity to explore real life fire trucks and even sit in the drivers seat of a hook and ladder engine.

A good day for the little man who loves his little red engines.

Here are some highlights from the great day.

Sprinklers

First off

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

The weather has been a bit crazy here is So Cal the past few weeks. Sunny and hot one day, overcast and misty the next. A few weeks ago, we thought summer had settled in. Temps in the 90's meant that it was time to explore fun ways to cool off and after Cole was intriqued by some sprinklers down the street we decided to break them out at home. Maybe it was a bit too early.

Animals as headwear

Cole and his mom have more than a few things in common one of which is that they seem to love hats with ears.

Here are some great shots of Cole and his mom sporting some of the headwear found in some drawers.... a reminder of a fun post many moons ago.
