Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend with Mom, Dad, Nana and Pop Pop Black in toe, Cole visited his first pumpkin patch. Now keep in mind... this is an LA pumpkin patch which doubles as a large parking lot covered with straw and hundreds of pumpkins. Throw in a couple haggard looking animals (so sad) to make up a petting zoo and there you have it.. a scene right out of "It's a Ghetto Style Halloween Charlie Brown". But ghetto or not, it was a real...ish pumpkin patch and we enjoyed our short stay.

Below is a video which chronicles his first interaction with large orange colored vegetables.

Stay tuned for entries featuring the Harvest Festival at Cole's school, a pumpkin carving party and Cole's first Halloween.

Pop Pop and I had a fun time with you and your folks at the "Pumpkin Patch" - LA style. So many pumpkins to see but we found some wonderful pumpkins and left smiling. Enjoy your first Halloween!

We had a great time together. You smiled and laughed and shared your world with us. We love you and can't wait to hold you again.

Love, Pop Pop and Nana
