Arizona 2012

Arizona Sky

After 2 1/2 years of Nana and Pop Pop making the drive from Arizona to LA to visit the grand kids we decided that it was time to return the favor. Spring Break for Cole meant it was time to pack up the family and head east. A quick plane ride and drive down from Tucson brought us to Sierra Vista. Cole and the family had not been since September 2009 and Casey had never been.

We were met with a nasty storm that limited our ability to venture out but we were able to experience our second snow fall of the year (first being in Big Bear). With poor weather in play we headed up to Fort Huachuca for some exploring and then spent some time a the wonderful indoor pool.

Once the storm had passed we were able to spend some time outside in the wide open spaces. A hike to an old homestead and a visit to a real ranch where he was able to help feed the horses and cows and collect eggs from the chickens were highlights for Cole while Casey enjoyed playing with toys that were once his dad's and exploring around the house.

Below is a recap of our visit. A bit long but packed with fun.

Much more to come to the new http://www.coleandcasey.com/
